Jamie White
Biography
Jamie White, better known by his ring name Jay White, is a New Zealand professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since April 2023. He began his career in 2013 training under the United Kingdom’s Fight! Nation Wrestling before joining New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) the following year as a Young Lion. In 2016 he departed on an overseas excursion, wrestling for Ring of Honor (ROH) and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW). Returning to NJPW in November 2017 under the “Switchblade” persona, he went on to become a one-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, a one-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion, a one-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time NEVER Openweight Champion, as well as the first NJPW wrestler to win the IWGP Triple Crown, and made his G1 Climax debut in 2018.
