Rakhmat Akilov is an Uzbek national serving a life sentence in Sweden for carrying out the terrorist attack on Drottninggatan on April 7, 2017. During the attack, he hijacked a truck and drove at high speed along Drottninggatan in central Stockholm, killing five people and injuring around twenty.
