Lettre de cinéaste : Chantal Akerman

The program Cinéma, cinémas regularly commissioned filmmakers to produce a cinematic letter in which they were asked to share their news. Chantal Akerman filmed hers in 1984, while she was working on her future musical, Golden Eighties. In a humorous tone, she lists everything it takes to make a film: getting up, getting dressed, eating, having actors and a crew available. And she literally shows it: she and her actress getting out of bed, getting dressed, eating... A humorous self-portrait.
